Friday night I was busy wasting away at RMSA Ramadhan Dinner, then in some cybercafe across from Eaton Centre, during this I missed the first fight of the holy month at our masjid. So word on the street is that Controversy Monger A was sitting at the rear, apparently not a muqtadi in the salaat, and gave lukma. At the end of the salaat Individual Who Speaks His Mind B told off Controversy Monger A for giving lukma like that. He told him that if he wanted to be big and bad and tell the imam off, then he should stand in the first row. Controversy Monger A's brother upon hearing this begins to shout in defense of his khandan. What ensued was a proper row that was the making of some quality taraweeh memories.
Today the Imam stood up and made an announcement on this issue, after he was done, he had another announcement:
Maulana Ayub Mamoon: We have a guest here who is a representative from an organisation, he will be addressing us regarding their purpose/goals. The organisation is called the Ansar Group...
Representative: It's not Ansar Group, it's Ansar Foundation.
Maulana Ayub Mamoon: Ansar Group, Ansar Foundation - same thing.
